Starting in fiscal 2027, high school students will have the opportunity to learn about generative artificial intelligence through newly approved textbooks. The education ministry has confirmed that 220 textbooks across 11 subjects will include comprehensive insights into various aspects of generative AI, marking a significant step towards integrating advanced technology into the educational curriculum. This initiative reflects a growing recognition of the importance of AI literacy among young learners.
